Near-Death Experiences
The reason why I think it is relevant to mention Near Death Experiences is that the information or experiences people receive or experience during a QHHT session can often be compared to what people see or learn during a Near Death Experience.
A large-scale study of Near-Death Experiences conducted by Raymond A. Moody / George Gallup, after interviewing more than 1,000 people who experienced an NDE, found that these individuals all experienced similarly defined elements. We can list the shared experiences that were discussed as follows:
-
Out of the body (while one can see what happens in the immediate environment after a death)
-
Accurate visual perception
-
Audible sounds or voices
-
Feelings of peace, painlessness
-
Light phenomena
-
Looking back on life
-
Being in another world
-
Meeting other creatures
-
Tunnel experience
-
Looking ahead into the future
The presence of one or more of these features defines NDE.
He estimates that 1 in 8 people who are revived have experienced an NDE. According to a poll by George Gallup, eight million people in the United States have experienced an NDE. That is one in twenty.
An NDE often has a lasting effect on the person who experienced it:
-
The belief in life after death
-
80% now believe in reincarnation
-
No fear of death at all
-
Transition from organized religion to a personal spiritual experience
-
Significant increase in a psychic susceptibility
-
A more positive view of themselves and others
-
A heightened desire for solitude
-
A stronger willpower
-
Decreased interest in material success and increased interest in spiritual development
-
Reduced use of alcohol , tobacco and medicines
There have been several studies to see if there is an association between having or not experiencing an NDE and the following characteristics: social class, race, gender, education, occupation, place of residence or marital status. Also, no connection was found between religion and experiencing an NDE. Since religious, cultural and individual experiences do play a role in the processing of the experiences, a clear difference in description / choice of words can be observed.
The vast majority of Near Death Experiences are absolutely wonderful experiences. The mind feels the perfect love, freedom and bliss. Depending on his upbringing and faith, he may experience it as Krisna, Jesus, Allah, God or Buddha. There is always a great feeling of disappointment when the mind has to return to the limited body. Very rarely a bad NDE experience is also possible. The beauty of this is that it ceases when the spirit invokes the source of all love .
